About the Authors

Nancy Manahan, Ph.D., has taught community college English, cross-cultural literature, women’s studies, and film studies. Her writing has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies.

Becky Bohan earned her M.A. in English Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is the retired Vice-President of Knowledge Design and Delivery, Inc., a training consulting company.

Nancy and Becky grew up in Madelia, MN, also Bill and Diane Manahan’s hometown. They received their undergraduate degrees in English from the University of Minnesota and have published four previous books. They make their home in Costa Rica, in Isla Mujeres, Mexico, and in Minneapolis, where Nancy's brother Bill Manahan, M.D., lives with them.
